2024 Pioneers in Endocrinology Workshop, October 29, 2024

The 16th Annual Pioneers in Endocrinology Workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Rutgers Busch Student Center.

This year’s theme is Endocrinology of Pregnancy and will feature two lectures: "Everything We Think We Know about Placental Extracellular Vesicles May Be Wrong: NanoFACS Is a Solution" given by Terry K. Morgan, MD, PhD, Professor of Pathology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Biomedical Engineering at Oregon Health & Science University; and "Sweet Beginnings and Sour Ends: Role of Maternal Diet, Diabetes and Metformin on Fetal Programming" given by Kjersti Aagaard, MD, PhD, FACOG, National Director of Perinatal Research and Medical Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine of Texas at HCA Healthcare and Research Scientist, Maternal Fetal Care Center, Division of Fetal Medicine and Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

These presentations will be followed by a luncheon and then a poster session in which laboratories from all Rutgers campuses, including its medical school branches, will showcase their work.
